Hi Middle Schools Principals, Guidance Counselors and Technology Teachers!

We are excited to extend an invitation to your students who may be interested in technology, computer science and robotics, to participate in our upcoming robotics scrimmage at Gotham Tech HS in the ATLAS building, on December 14th, from 9am to 3pm.

Students can attend individually or as a pre-formed team of 4. During the day they will experience block based coding and programming of the Finch robot to complete tasks and compete in the areas of creativity (programming the robot to draw), maneuverability (directing the robot around obstacles on a course) and battling (direct competition with another team’s robot).

We will provide snacks and prizes await the winners!

This will be an exciting event and a chance for your students to see what Gotham Tech is about as we engage students in challenge based learning, with joy and competition.

Please confirm your participation by December 6th by completing the form linked at the top of this page, or click here, submitting the student names and a point of contact. You can complete the form multiple times if you have additional interest.

Attached is a flyer for the event along with a trip and photo consent form with location details.
We are excited to see your students attend and your teachers are welcome too!

Sincerely,

Matt Gill
